Blessed Sarnelli Community

Living Faith, Sharing Love, Being Hope

Local Volunteer Groups

Part of our mission is to empower young adults to minister to those who are poor and abandoned. We welcome High Schools, Colleges, and Parishes to get more involved with our ministry by volunteering with us at a meal or clothing distribution to our guests.

We ask that groups come at least a half an hour before the ministry to help set up and get oriented and to stay and help clean up for a short time after we close.

Some groups have the resources and choose to bring a meal to serve on Tuesday's and Thursday's. This is certainly not necessary to be able to volunteer, but we are happy to accept!

We can usually host 6-8 students for a dinner and 4-6 students for a Social Hour.

Please contact Edward to schedule your group. Feel free to check out our Ministry Schedule to learn more about what we do, or to check out our Calendar of events to see which days are free.

We look forward to hosting your group!

Clothing/Food Drives

We know that after students join us in our ministry and meet our community, sometimes they are feel compelled to do more. We are so grateful for their enthusiasm. We are always in need of pantry items, clothing and toiletries to help those in need. If you or your students are able and willing to hold a clothing or food drive for us (or if there are other fundraising ideas out there) we are happy to help! Please check out our Donations Page for items we are currently in need of.
