Jessica has been with BSC since August 2011. She graduated from Mount St. Mary's University with a degree in Sociology in 2009. She went on to serve a year as a missionary with NET Ministries, travelling all over the US evangelizing to young people through retreats. She then spent a year with the Salesians of Don Bosco with their Domestic Volunteer Program. While there, she was a housemother at a shelter for pregnant women in northern New Jersey. Those experiences have really helped prepare her for service with Blessed Sarnelli Community.
"BSC is such a great organization because it really focuses on each human being and how we can help them in their moment of need. Bringing those in need together with young people who have such potential in all aspects of life is so great to see and everyone is really changed by this interaction."
Edward Nelling, Volunteer
Edward has been with us since January 2013. He is a graduate of LaSalle College High School. He then spent a year with the Welcome Home in Winnipeg, Canada serving those in need with their Redemptorist Mission. He is able to blend in to the neighborhood and takes advantage of other ministries in the area to spend more time with the people. He brings great energy and creativity to BSC and we are happy to have him here.
